Breathwork
(Online or In-Person)

What is  Breathwork?

Breathwork is an embodied practice of conscious, connected breathing — a weaving of inhale and exhale without pause. Often referred to as Rebirthing Breathwork (or Conscious Connected Breathwork), this gentle, nose-based, parasympathetic rhythm invites the body to soften, the nervous system to settle, and the hidden energies of mind, body, and spirit to awaken.

This is not just a breathing exercise — it is a return to your own life force. Through breath, we access subtle layers of being, release what no longer serves, and re-connect with the deeper currents of our ancestral, emotional, and spiritual lineage.

By tapping into your life force blocked energy and trauma are moved and released . Founded by Leonard Orr in the 1970s, rebirthing breathwork takes you to your first breath and allows you to revisit childhood experiences from a higher perspective and bring forth healing.

Through continued practice, breathwork offers a wide tapestry of support:

  • Emotional release  and healing: This practice can gently unlock stored emotional trauma, childhood imprints or birth trauma allowing release of fear, grief, anger or shame making space for healing.  ( )

  • Nervous system regulation & stress relief:
By intentionally slowing and deepening our breath, the body shifts into parasympathetic (rest-and-digest) mode — calming the nervous system, reducing anxiety, improving sleep, and restoring balance.

  • Mental clarity and  presence
:  Breathwork  clears the energy of the body and mind opening us to greater clarity, focus, creativity, and the ability to see old patterns — offering the chance to respond rather than react, to move energetic blockages and shift old belief systems and patterns.

  • Finding your own connection to spirit and capacity to remember our wholeness: Breathwork can open channels to inner wisdom, intuition, and a deeper sense of belonging — to self, to the earth, to ancestral roots, to something greater than us.

  • Lifelong tool for embodied living
:   Once learned, conscious connected breathing becomes a practice you can return to again and again — a simple, available anchor for grounding, healing, and inner connection.

Breathwork can support with:

  • Brain fog, chronic fatigue

  • Quality of sleep

I, Akua Gutierrez acknowledge with deep gratitude the traditional custodians of country throughout Australia and the Gundungurra and Dharug Peoples on whose land I am grateful to call home. I pay my deepest respects to the Indigenous Women who birthed and sat together in circle on this land and to the Elders past and present. I acknowledge that I live on stolen land and that sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
